Position

■ Part-time English Instructor

Job Description

■ Teach English to elementary school students in an after-school English program.
■ Each class consists of approximately 10 students.

Working Hours

①Niigata Campus

■ Tuesday to Thursday: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
■ Saturday: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

②Honkomagome Campus

■ Monday: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM
■ Tuesday to Thursday
■ ① 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
■ ② 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM
■ No classes on Saturdays

※ There are no breaks during shifts longer than two hours.
※ Applicants available for at least one shift per week are welcome!

Salary & Benefits

■ Hourly wage: ¥2,500 – ¥2,700
■ Probation period (1 month): ¥1,500 per hour
■ Transportation allowance: Up to ¥1,000 per shift (exceptions may be discussed during the first interview)
■ Workers’ compensation insurance (労災) included
■ Employment insurance available for those working 20+ hours per week

Requirements

■ Native or near-native English proficiency
■ Experience teaching children preferred but not required
■ Valid work visa required (must already be residing in Japan, preferably in the Niigata area)
■ Minimum commitment of one year
